Ages 13-25
Everyone enjoys laughing and making others laugh. One form of theater that brings laughter to people is improvisation. It is a style of theater where actors create and perform unscripted scenes.
This is an introductory improv class, where you will be taught the building blocks of improv, by listening, character building and teamwork. We will play various games to immerse all participants in the improv style. We will focus on long form improv, a style where the games or scenes last for several minutes. Everyone will work towards building a firm foundation of improv skills, and hopefully gain an appreciation of improv, and make lasting friendships.
There is a wide range of benefits for people who get involved with improv. For those with an acting background, this class will give you another tool to use on stage. For those who are more introverted, improv is a great way to loosen up in front of others and build confidence, while having fun!
Participants need to bring a sense of humor and their imagination. There are a lot of funny people out there, all they need is an outlet!

This wrestling club will offer more coaching and more dates, along with a summer wrestling camp discount, and competition with weekend tournaments starting in January around the state. Kosciuszko school just finished their 2008 Annual Food Drive for Project Concern.
The food drive lasted for seven days. On the first day, the school held a kick-off assembly where they learned about citizenship. Students were asked to bring in non-perishable food items. When they came to the assembly, they filled their classroom box and received a citizenship sticker. Each additional day, students were asked to bring in specific items:
- Friday - peanut butter
- Monday - canned Fruit
- Tuesday - canned vegetables
- Wednesday - tuna
- Thursday - any boxed item
- Friday - anything
The students collected over 1,960 items and filled 45 boxes! This was one of the best food drives the school has ever had. The second grade collected the most items and will have an ice cream party to celebrate.

On Wednesday, November 19, a group of Cudahy High School writers traveled to UW-Whitewater to participate in the Creative Writing Festival.
The students met up with fellow high school writers from all around Wisconsin and Illinois to share and review one another’s writing. Each student received feedback on their submission from a festival facilitator, as well as peers, as they shared their writing in workshop format. Some students took part in “open-mic” sessions, where they shared their work with even larger audiences.
