My wife is a pure vegetarian and we know places to go here in Milwaukee where we can get good vegetarian food. But, when we travel, we find out that many famous restaurants do not know how to prepare good vegetarian food. They just bring boiled vegetables, not cooked right, and without any taste. We take our own home made spice shaker to add it to the dishes. There are so many books and resources to find out how to cook good vegetarian meal, Alamelu's cook book is a good example. There are a lot of restaurants with very nice vegetarian selections. With so many people starting to eat more vegetarian food, I hope to see a lot more restaurants to include tasty vegetarian food.
